About this Speaker

Lena Nahlous is an experienced CEO, producer, curator and artistic director, with over 20 years in arts, cultural and media organisations. She is currently the Executive Director of Diversity Arts Australia and host of The Colour Cycle podcast. Lena was formerly the Executive Director of Information and Cultural Exchange (ICE) in Western Sydney for over 10 years, where she oversaw a major capital works project, established Switch Digital Arts Centre, co-founded the Arab Film Festival, and established Artfiles, an employment and engagement program for Western Sydney artists. Specialising in initiatives for women, refugees, migrants and young people, Lena has also taught at South West Sydney Institute of TAFE, was a special consultant on the Culture Beats program for the Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority and the City of Sydney, and was Social History and Exhibitions Curator, Fairfield City Museum and Gallery.
